Adult Faith Formation
The call to serve
The parish community has a special role in promoting participation in the life, mission, and work of the faith community.
"The parish is where the Church lives. Parishes are communities of faith, of action, and of hope. They are where the Gospel is proclaimed and celebrated, where believers are formed and sent to renew the earth. Parishes are the home of the Christian community; they are the heart of our Church. In line with the directions of the United State Conference of Catholic Bishops, St. Patrick's Church offers several opportunities to enrich parishioners' spiritual life in addition to daily and Sunday Masses. Please scroll down to find out more.
ADULT CONFIRMATION
The Adult Confirmation program is for those Catholics who:
Have been baptized
Have received First Eucharist
Are willing to participate in the Sunday Liturgies
If you have the desire to complete your Sacramental preparation to be Confirmed at St. Patrick's Church, please call the Parish Office to be put in touch with Jerri Fife.
R.C.I.A.
Rite of Christian Initiation for Adults
This is a faith journey for adults who were not baptized or baptized in other faiths, or for baptized Catholics who have not received the Sacraments of Confirmation and First Eucharist.

R.C.I.A. Sponsors
A ministry for those who desire to share their Catholic faith and be a companion to a candidate/catechumen (a person who is undergoing the R.C.I.A. journey).
The Sponsor needs to be:
A practicing Catholic who was baptized, confirmed, and receives the Eucharist.
Sixteen years or older.
If married, he/she must be in a valid Catholic marriage.
Available to attend weekly sessions with their candidate/catechumen, the celebrations of liturgical rites, and other related events to the best of his/her ability.
